What else can PRP do?!

This gorgeous PRP golden serum can also: Rejuvenate skin by increasing collagen production, which both tightens and strengthens maturing skin to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, sagging, and scarring. Heal joint pain, arthritis, and sports injuries by increasing collagen and cartilage growth in the joint, ligaments, or tendons.

Who is a good candidate?

Most people, even those experiencing male or female pattern baldness. For those who have symptoms of thyroid or other hormone imbalances, Dr. Storm will test these hormones before treatment and support you in getting these values into healthy ranges before (or in some cases during) your PRP therapy protocol.

Can I shower after?

Best results are achieved with longer exposure of your hair follicles to the PRP serum, so it’s best to wait 12-24 hours before showering.

Is there any down time?

Nope. You can go right back to your normal activities. (Though we recommend wearing a hat after treatment.)

What are the side effects?

Occasional tenderness and bruising at injection sites. (Of note: those who have experienced dizziness or passing out when giving blood are likely not the best candidates for this therapy.)

What are the side effects?

Is it painful?

PRP therapy is a series of injections at the scalp. There is some discomfort and pain that comes  with treatment, BUT we have found a way to significantly decrease any tenderness experienced  during therapy. We use a small vibration tool to distract your nerves from feeling pain caused by the injections. This works wayyyy better than numbing creams. Even our needle-phobic patients have had an easy time with PRP therapy when using the vibration tool. If you’ve heard this treatment is painful, it’s because the right pain relief strategy wasn’t used.
