The PRX solution is pressed gently into the deep layers of the skin, activating collagen formation for lift and tightening, , bringing pigment to the surface to reduce brown spots and discoloration. You may notice a tingling or warm sensation during treatment that will resolve within minutes.
No downtime. Makeup and workouts are both fine immediately after. You’ll leave with a mega-watt glow that is perfect for a special event! Over the next 2 days, pigment will come to the surface and then lighten, and you may experience mild peeling.

Unlike traditional chemical peels that create controlled injury at the surface of the skin, PRX-T33 works without aggressively exfoliating the epidermis. Its patented combination of 33% TCA and hydrogen peroxide allows it to stimulate skin renewal while minimizing the surface inflammation that can trigger post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. That makes PRX uniquely suited for all Fitzpatrick skin types—including deeper skin tones that may be more susceptible to pigmentation changes following traditional resurfacing treatments. This treatment is well tolerated by most skin types, though if your skin is very sensitive you may experience more tingling, warmth, and redness during treatment.
For best results we recommend 1 PRX treatment a week for 4 weeks, You can then use this treatment to brighten and glow before special events or as needed to support skin clarity.
Most will not notice any sensation during their PRX treatments. Some with more sensitive skin may feel tingling and warmth during their session and may experience redness that lasts for 15-20 minutes post session.
Directly after your treatment your skin will look glowy and feel supple and smooth. This radiance is why we use PRX for same-day special events! You can apply makeup directly after your treatment. The following 1-3 days you may notice that dark spots come to the surface before fading, and have mild redness or peeling. By day 4 the peeling is generally resolved and the radiance has returned.
PRX is a keystone treatment in our 4-part Signature Skin Series, along with XERF Skin Tightening, LaseMD Ultra Skin Resurfacing laser, and Microneedling with PDGF. For those who also do botox and filler, please leave 2 weeks between these other therapies and your PRX facial.
